This past week my parents loaded up everything from Jess’ storage unit in Spokane and drove it 1,000 miles down to Greeley. You can see some photos of the journey at my dad’s online photo gallery.
It seems like so long ago that I was in Seattle to work on wedding plans. Here is one of the engagement photos that my uncle John took for us:

This was taken shortly after we got caught in a heavy rainstorm. I guess we dried out pretty quickly!
I have a countdown on my computer and today it reads:
60 days until Mission Get-Married is accomplished!
With only two months until the wedding there are few things left on the wedding “to-do” list. Last weekend I got a lot accomplished and in about ten days, Seth and I will be going to Seattle to do some cupcake taste testing so we can check that off too!
But I think the countdown is about more than just the wedding. It’s about counting down the days until we get to be in the same place again (for longer than a few days at a time). Happy Counting!
Welcome to our new blog! We each have our own blogs (Jess and Seth, although he does NOT update often…) but this is a blog for the “us” part of life. With 1000 miles between us, there won’t be much to post. As of now the “us” stuff in our lives consists mostly of free unlimited minutes (we’re not ashamed to dip into rollover!) and a few letters here and there, but come May we will hopefully have more to share.
